Elk Antler
Outfitters is one of Wyoming's oldest guide companies, our license number says
it all, Wyoming License #007. We are a family owned and operated
business, we have many years of combined experience in the backcountry and we
feel that this is a valuable asset to our hunters and guests. Over the years we
have had the privilege to inspire hundreds of guests and call them our friends.
Big Game Hunting:
Elk Antler Outfitters Ltd. offers Hunting trips for Elk, Mule Deer, Shiraz
Moose, Black Bear and Antelope.
These can be hunted in a primitive Pre-1840 mountain-man style or modern rifle
and archery. The hunts are completely custom tailored to meet any client’s
needs.
Pack Trips:
One of our specialties is the Pre-1840 mountain man pack trip. These use a
style that is uniquely fashioned totally in the Pre-1840 time era. You can
travel on the same trails; eat the same foods, live as the Mountain Men and
Women did during this time period. See Jedediah Smith Wilderness and the Grand
Tetons as the early trapper's did, this is a once in a lifetime experience, a
trip you will never forget!
Guided Horseback Trail Rides:
All day, half day and custom horseback rides in the backcountry are available,
we specialize in custom tailoring your experience, so it is one of a kind.
For those photographers out there, the wildflowers are in a radiant bloom
during the end of July and through out August, this is a breathtaking event,
you would not want to miss! Our season runs from the end of June to October.
High-Country Fishing:
Once you step foot into the Jedediah Wilderness Forest area you will be
astounded at the shear beauty of the outdoors. The crisp smells of mountain
air, pine trees and wildflowers will take over your senses. The brilliant colors
of the forest in hues of greens and the vivid colors of the wildflowers are
perfect for the photographer in us all.
Once you reach the high-mountain lakes and streams, you can fish for rainbow or
brook trout. There will be plenty of opportunities to see various wildlife such
as, wolverine, porcupine, coyote, deer, elk, moose, bear and birds of prey.
